Our Mission:
Penn Climate Ventures (PCV) is a student-run organization dedicated to driving social impact in the environmental world. PCV aims to create a professional pipeline through consulting, finance, law, and tech — but specifically for climate! We are composed of students ranging from all four years and graduate students, all with interests in exploring climate. All majors are welcome, and we do not require any prior experience! 
What We Do:

<li>Provide opportunities for students to gain real-world consulting and policy experiences, working with companies from nuclear energy to investment firms.</li>
<li>Teach fundamental skills for climate innovators through educational workshops and speaking events featuring founders, investors, and industry professionals working in climate and sustainability.</li>
<li>Empower student entrepreneurs in climate through our Ideathon and prize pitch competitions.</li>
<li>Host professional development and networking opportunities, including New York treks and company-sponsored dinners.</li>
<li>Foster a tight-knit and inclusive community by hosting social events like backyard potlucks, socials, karaoke nights, board game nights, and more!</li>

Committees:
<ins>Consulting</ins><ins> (Angela Ye, angelaye@sas.upenn.edu; Chloe Ng, ngchloe@seas.upenn.edu; Lukas Von Koch, lvonkoch@wharton.upenn.edu):</ins> Consultants work on in-depth business research projects with a team of 4-5 other consultants. An experienced project lead will facilitate communication between the client and your team. No prior consulting experience is required! PCV's pro bono consultancy services are often related to business management, operations, marketing, finances, investments, and more.
<ins>Policy</ins><ins> (Sandro Mocciolo, smocc@sas.upenn.edu):</ins> Interested in politics? Apply to join: Policy. This year, similar to the Consulting Committee, the Policy Committee will work and consult environmental advocacy groups to provide policy research, analysis, legislative work, and organizing services. The committee is looking for students with strong writing, reading, and research skills, and an interest in climate policy.
<ins>Prize</ins><ins> (Brianna Hess, hesslb@sas.upenn.edu; Jeff Li, jeff1@seas.upenn.edu; Kana Unigame, unigamek@sas.upenn.edu):</ins> The Prize Committee organizes an international climate pitch competition for college startups each year. The team is divided into subteams responsible for all aspects of the competition, including marketing, logistics, and fundraising. We are looking for students who are collaborative, proactive, open-minded, and detail-oriented.
<ins>Events</ins><ins> (Karam Alkaissy, alkaissy@seas.upenn.edu):</ins> The Events Committee is seeking students to assist with planning and executing club-wide and campus-wide events throughout the year. Responsibilities include coordinating with necessary stakeholders to plan and ensure the successful execution of events. These events may include social gatherings, speaker panels, networking sessions, conference trips, and Climate Week. We are looking for individuals with strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
<ins>Marketing</ins><ins> (Keya Krishna, keyakris@wharton.upenn.edu):</ins> The Marketing Committee at PCV produces and manages all of our social media platforms and marketing campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your marketing knowledge and design skills, ensuring that PCV’s branding remains cohesive and consistent across platforms. The team is also responsible for maintaining the PCV websites with PCV's Director of Web Development, Anmol Dash.
<ins>Operations</ins><ins> (Daniel Lapinski, dlapins@sas.upenn.edu):</ins> The Operations Committee is responsible for facilitating and planning GBMs, maintaining community partnerships, and managing finances. The Operations Committee collaborates with all the committees of PCV to provide additional support. The team also designs PCV's semesterly reports and monthly emails, working closely with the entire executive board.
