Heart Watch at Penn is a student-led organization at the University of Pennsylvania. Our goal is to raise awareness about heart disease in an effort to prevent cardiovascular related deaths.
In partnership with the CUT hypertension program at the Perelman School of Medicine, we create an opprtunity for student volunteers to educate the community about the risks factors of heart disease while medical students perform blood pressure screenings.&nbsp;
A distinctive feature of our initiative lies in the opportunity for student volunteers to observe and shadow various medical specialties, including cardiovascular surgery and general surgery, fostering a multifaceted learning experience.
