The purpose of the Penn Initiative for Minority Mental Health (PIMMH) is to integrate Penn’s minority and underrepresented populations into the conversation of campus mental health in a way that does not tokenize our interests. PIMMH strives to create a safe space for discussion of more nuanced ways that intersectionality may affect mental wellness for students on campus, as well as decrease stigma of mental health topics in minority communities.
The Penn Initiative for Minority Mental Health is a student group at the University of Pennsylvania; here are our goals for the previous semester:
