Club Mission

Welcome Future Maritime Leader

Maritime@Penn (MAP) is the first student-run maritime club at The University of Pennsylvania. We're here to connect students who want to tackle real problems in a $14 trillion industry that moves 90% of the world's goods.

Think shipping, ports, logistics, autonomous vessels - basically everything that keeps global trade flowing. We bring together students from engineering, business, nursing, policy, and other fields because maritime challenges need diverse perspectives.

Why Maritime Matters

Everyone talks about tech disrupting everything, but maritime is where some of the biggest changes are actually happening. Autonomous ships, green fuels, smart ports, supply chain innovation. This industry is transforming, and it needs people who can think differently. Plus, it's global by nature. The skills and connections you build here open doors everywhere.
