Description

Penn Table Tennis is a student group at the University of Pennsylvania that holds open practices. No tryouts or time commitments are required to join the club, so drop by any practice to say hi and play some ping pong!

If you're interested in competition, we have both a recreational team that plays friendly scrimmages as well as a competitive team that travels to play schools around the country. Whether you are a beginner, an accomplished tournament player, or just someone looking to have fun - we have a place for you in our club!

Our practice times for Fall 2023 are as follows:

  • Sunday, 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Tuesday, 5:15pm - 7:15pm
  • Thursday, 9:15pm - 11:15pm

Our first practice will be on Tuesday, September 5th.

Practices will be held at Weightman Hall (Google Maps Link). Since the doors are usually locked, call/text 215-847-3077 once you arrive and an officer will let you in.

Hi, we do have club equipment for anyone who doesn't have their own. If you do have a paddle, though, we recommend you bring it in case we run out of equipment to loan. Thanks for asking, and let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi, we usually send a coed team and a women's team to intercollegiate tournaments, both with 8 members. In 2019-20, we had 2 members of the women's team also play on the coed team. Thanks for your interest!

Hi, there is a public Facebook group for the club at https://www.facebook.com/groups/pennpingpong/. Most official announcements and info go out through our mailing list, so hit the bell on the top right of the page if you're interested!
