<ins>I. Statement of Purpose</ins> WasteWise at Penn (WWP) is a student-driven organization dedicated to improving waste management practices and promoting sustainability awareness across campus. By fostering a culture of responsible waste disposal and innovative solutions, we aim to make waste diversion a fundamental part of campus life. Objectives:
1. Design and Develop Educational Materials:
<ul>
<li>Create engaging and informative content tailored to student audiences.</li>
<li>Host workshops, campaigns, and events to teach proper recycling practices and encourage waste reduction behaviors.</li>
</ul>
2. Collaboration with Penn Office of Sustainability:
<ul>
<li>Facilitate communication between students and the Sustainability Office to share insights on waste trends, behavior patterns.</li>
</ul>
<ins>II. Membership Criteria:</ins> 1. Student Status: Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. 2. Demonstrated Interest: Show interest in waste management, sustainability education, or related fields. 3. Commitment: Ability to participate in meetings. Willingness to contribute to educational materials, event planning, and other projects.
