Club Mission

BioArt Lab is a student-run organization at Penn dedicated to exploring the intersection of art, biology, and community impact. We partner with local Philadelphia schools to design and host interactive, hands-on workshops that spark creativity and curiosity. Our goal is to foster a collaborative space to introduce students to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). We're also hosting an Art of Science Exposition displaying student works, speaker sessions, and call for submissions to encourage visual communication of scientific knowledge.

We havce reached over 60 students at the Workshop School, and this year we are expanding to the Henry C. Lea Elementary School (through Netter Center). Whether you’re passionate about science, design, or education, BioArt Lab welcomes volunteers to help us grow our reach!
