Club Mission

What would happen if we gathered future government leaders in the same room, years before they would meet in Washington?

Pi Lambda Sigma (POLIS) is the University of Pennsylvania's premier professional government society. A nonpartisan club designed for students interested in pursuing a career in government or public service (regardless of school or major), POLIS provides an undergraduate network of students with a passion for politics and prepares fellows for careers in their respective fields.

POLIS will invite distinguished speakers in the field and host events for the greater Penn community. The organization will also train fellows to learn how to enter a career in government through workshops in networking how-tos, LinkedIn, USAJobs, resume and cover letter building, internship strategizing, and coffee chats. POLIS further aims to create a network of alumni working in government to assist current POLIS fellows in launching their careers.
