Penn Undergraduate Smart Woman Securities Association (SWS) is a student group which aims to educate and empower female students interested in learning more about finance and investing. Through educational seminars, corporate events, mentorship, alumni networking, and opportunities to interact with SWS chapters in other colleges nation-wide, members are given the chance to explore the field in a supportive environment, alongside other like-minded women. We emphasize accessibility to all, and particularly encourage girls who have no prior knowledge or experience with finance. &nbsp;

SWS at Penn focuses on creating a safe and open environment that encourages learning about investing at all levels

Smart Woman Securities was an incredible way for me to learn about finance in a welcoming and inclusive environment when I first joined Penn. While I didn't know much about finance coming in to college, SWS immediately helped me overcome the learning curve and find a community of mentorship where I felt comfortable asking questions.

Not being in Wharton was a little intimidating when I decided to learn more about finance, but SWS was a great way to meet more people who had varying levels of financial knowledge.
