<li>To educate dental students and patients on the importance of nutrition in maintaining oral health and overall well-being. As healthcare providers, we aim to build a strong foundation of nutritional literacy, acting as a bridge between diet, oral health, and systemic health. In doing so, we strive to connect patients with dietitians and guide them toward a healthier, more mindful approach to their diet.</li>
<li>Educate the Student Body: Promote nutritional awareness among dental students and provide ongoing education.</li>
<li>Expand Knowledge: Shift focus from traditional caries risks (e.g., sugar) to a broader understanding of the nutritional impacts on health, such as vitamin/mineral deficiencies.</li>
<li>Patient Support: Assist patients by sharing nutritional knowledge that could impact their oral and systemic health.Collaboration: Partner with Registered Dietician Matthew Whipple to assist in educating the student body and reaching a broader audience.</li>
