Our mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to unearth their intellect and curiosity. Each semester, our team of writers, editors, and designers collaborates to create a magazine that we share with local children in person and online. Past articles include topics like the history of coffee, how different animals sleep, why hot water feels cold, and so much more! </span></p>

Youth-oriented educational publication

I have loved being a part of UnEarthed. All of the members are super driven and work together to create a beautiful magazine. It is so fun to be around a group of kind and creative people who are passionate about giving back to the Philadelphia community.

I joined UnEarthed my freshman fall and I immediately felt so excited to become a part of such a creative, intelligent, and energetic group of people. I have enjoyed collaborating with my peers to create awesome products that positively influence students in West Philadelphia.

UnEarthed has given me the opportunity to make strong connections with leaders in both the Penn and Philadelphia community. Working collaboratively to produce a magazine has helped me gain skills in writing, fundraising, and communications—all while helping provide under-privileged students educational materials.
