Club Mission

The Alt Protein Project at Penn is a chapter of the Good Food Institute (GFI) Alt Protein Project, a global student movement dedicated to turning universities into engines for alternative protein education, research, and innovation. The program enables motivated, visionary students to lead their universities to transform the way we produce food - creating a food system that is sustainable, secure, and just. The Alt Protein Project is focused on generating awareness and excitement, stimulating open-access research, catalyzing entrepreneurship, building alternative protein courses and majors, and creating an inclusive and inspiring community!
