Club Mission

Wharton Asian American Association of MBAs (WAAAM) provides a forum for celebrating all AAPI identities while supporting members professionally, academically, and socially at Wharton and beyond. You do not need to be Asian or American to join WAAAM – we're proud to welcome all allies and supporters of our mission!

Our Pillars:

  • Community: Events to foster intimate spaces of meaningful connection for members of the WAAAM community to share and learn.
  • Identity: Promote self-reflection and dialogue on topics related to AAPI identity and matters impacting the AAPI community.
  • Partnerships: Facilitate connections to the broader Wharton MBA community via event collaborations with other affinity & recreational student organizations.
  • Empowerment: Support members in recruitment and empower them to lead AAPI advancement in the workforce.
  • Social: Plan and host large-scale, engaging events that create and strengthen bonds among WAAAM members and the broader Wharton community.
