Wharton Asset Management is a student-run organization focused on providing members with hands-on practical experience in asset management, with an emphasis on networking and speaker events.

Club Activities Acknowledgement:

First Semester: There will be a simulator competition similar to the Wharton high school youth investment contest. Participants will be required to make portfolios over 8 weeks and then publish a paper to explain their investment choices.

Second Semester: The club will initiate a simulated portfolio that all members will have a chance to be involved in. Weekly meetings will be held to make collective investment decisions. However, only the top-performing members from the first semester will be invited to partake in the management of the real-money external portfolio.

External Portfolio: There will be an external portfolio with real funds. This will be funded through donations and will track the decisions made in the simulated portfolio. This portfolio will be managed exclusively by the top-performing members selected from the first semester's activities.

Exclusive Events: Throughout the year, committed and top-performing club members will receive invitations to exclusive networking opportunities and speaker events, connecting students with industry professionals and alumni in the field of asset management.
