Founded in 2011, W-KUBS is an official, Wharton-recognized student organization fostering a strong, supportive Korea-focused community at Penn and beyond. We educate students on professional and career development and serve as a bridge between business professionals and students.
W-KUBS is composed of 7 committees:
External: Plans premier events, including career treks, speaker series, and MBA networking sessions, while building alumni and corporate relationships.
Professional Development: Runs core pre-professional programming to build recruiting and career readiness skills.
Internal: Fosters camaraderie through monthly socials, joint events with other Korean organizations, and the big/little program.
Consulting: Educates members on consulting careers through workshops and panels.
Business Analysis: Prepares sophomores for finance recruiting through technical training and mock interviews.
Marketing: Manages branding, website, social media, and promotional content.
BBB: Leads our flagship Business Black Box Case Competition, connecting Korean high schoolers with real-world business problem solving.
GBM: Grants access to all events.
