WQHS radio is an entirely student-run radio station at the University of Pennsylvania. We are housed at the Hollenback Center at 3000 South Street, Philadelphia PA, 19104. We broadcast exclusively online and are on air 24/7.
Our programming covers a wide span of musical genres and includes talk shows ranging in subject from politics to news to pop culture. Freeform radio provides students a dependable and flexible creative outlet they can revisit regularly, allowing them to engage with others on campus, as well as Philadelphia and beyond. No experience is necessary! For those who have an interest in writing and/or photography, our music blog is always open to submissions.

WQHS is a low commitment, fun, and relaxing club that allows you to have time during the week to play music on air or talk about whatever you feel over the radio. The social atmosphere is super chill.

WQHS provides an opportunity for students to join a club with a different atmosphere than other Penn clubs, in that it is very relaxed and non-professional. You get the chance to escape from campus to talk and play music over internet radio, and to get press passes for concerts you want to go to for the blog.
