Wharton Undergraduate Aerospace Club (WUAC) serves to empower members to pursue a career in the Aerospace &amp; Defense industry by educating them on key business skills and technological innovations, as well as offering key connections to industry. Our largest event is the Wharton Aerospace Conference bringing together 250 top aerospace &amp; defense executives on Penn’s campus in March. Companies in attendance include Lockheed Martin, Norhtrop Grumman, Boeing Anduril, Shield AI, Boeing, Blackrock, Accenture, Moelis, Deloitte, and many many more. Becoming a member of the club grants you access to likeminded and driven individuals looking to make tangible differences in this world.&nbsp;
Structure:
WUAC is centered around weekly committee meetings &amp; fruitful, monthly GBM events. Our committees include:

<li>Consulting Committee, which provides consulting services to aerospace &amp; defense companies that are partnered with our club. </li>
<li>Research, Sustainability, Innovation Committee, which enters various collegiate level research competitions in the field of aerospace and clean aviation.</li>
<li>Investing Committee, which teaches members the basics of investing with a focus on the A&amp;D industry.</li>
<li>Conference Committee, which plays a big role in organizing the annual Wharton Aerospace Conference, as well as presenting WUAC's work at various aerospace conferences in the Ivy League.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
How to Join:
Please apply using PennClubs page in either the Fall or Spring. We do not require that you list a specific committee to apply to; upon entry, these will be decided based on interest, motivation, and skillset.

Launching aerospace & defense careers

WUAC has made my time here at Penn. It has given me real opportunities to work with things that I actually want to do. I've explored NASA case studies and patents, completed Space Force briefs to the president, and went to the Franklin Institute! WUAC opened so many doors for me already and I cannot wait to see what's next!
