Information Session

Hosted by Genetic Counseling Student Interest Group at Penn

Description

Join us for information session, where we’ll introduce the field of genetic counseling and share the focus and direction of the club. This first meeting will include a brief introduction to the club’s mission and priorities. We will dicuss key resources the club aims to share, including information about genetic counseling assistant (GCA) position, guidance on gaining relevant experience, such as internships or shadowing, and opportunities to learn from and connect with current genetic counselors, students, and patients.

A meeting date has not yet been finalized, but we anticipate holding it in late March. We are excited to build a community for students interested in genetic counseling. All undergraduate majors and class years are welcome.
