Undergraduate

The West Philly Swingers is UPenn's official swing dancing troupe! Our goals are to have fun, make friends, and learn to dance along the way. We are both a social and a performance group, dancing mainly Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing.

Come with any or no dance experience! We'll be hosting a beginner lesson followed by a social dance to get to know some of our current members. Bring a couple friends and learn how to dance Lindy Hop!

Auditions!

A full day of swing dance workshops, competitions, and social dance run by professional instructors and a live band! Come for a class or stay for the whole day to get in the groove. Open to any and all experience levels!

West Philly Swingers have been nothing but a warm, welcoming family since Day 1! I look around and am so thankful that I stumbled upon such a wonderful group of people my freshman year - and the dancing is insanely fun too!

Ridiculous amounts of fun, incredibly supportive environment for all things school, work, and life, and can join with literally no experience!
