January Clubbing Night – Student Guide

About the Different Club Types

Wharton Recognized Clubs serve a unique purpose within the Wharton community and provide co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities to all Wharton (and Penn) undergraduates. These clubs follow the Council's recruitment guidelines and club requirement policies.

Emerging Clubs range from established student groups in other Penn recognized organizations to up and coming clubs that have 1-2 years of existence. These highly specialized clubs are on exciting paths, as they present a unique opportunity to join and take on responsibility immediately.

Division Sponsored Student Organizations are not under the Wharton Council umbrella, so some of their applications may direct you toward an external link and are not necessarily on the exact application timeline as the above clubs. These organizations do follow a majority of the other recruitment guidelines. These student organizations work closely with administrators in the Undergraduate Division and other Wharton departments to develop programming and initiatives to support students and enhance the Wharton experience. In an effort to centralize all applications with this platform, you are able to see and be directed to these other amazing opportunities.

Every year, Wharton Council holds a January Clubbing Night.

This activities fair is intended for Wharton clubs only. Penn Labs has received a list of registered clubs and participants do not have to perform additional registration actions. If you do not see your club registered by two weeks before the clubbing night, please contact contact@pennclubs.com.
